Pushkin (Tsarskoye Selo) is the former residence of the Russian tsars, which was called “capital in capital” before the revolution of 1917. The ensemble is 25 km to the south of St.Petersburg and is famous for its beautiful palaces and wonderful parks with various pavilions and monuments. Today the museum complex has over 20 000 exhibits. The center of the architectural composition is the luxurious Great Catherine Palace with the famous amber room, which has been recently restored.

-        Visit to the Bath House designed by the architect Cameron. Agate rooms upstairs are lavishly decorated with agate, marble, jasper and porphyry. Visitors can admire the authentic interior decoration remained intact since the time of Catherine II. Interesting exhibits from the erotic collection of the Russian tsars are displayed downstairs.

-        Visit to the Alexander Palace, a beautiful example of Classicism created by Quarenghi at the close of the 18^th century. The last Russian Tsar Nickolai II had lived there with his family since 1904. The exhibition acquaints visitors with the history of the Romanovs family and displays personal belongings of the Russian tsars and members of their families.

-        Visit to the workshop, where amber panels for the amber room in the Catherine Palace were made. Visitors will see how the “sun stones” are processed.
